Your first of anything can be more intimidating than it deserves to be. We often let our fight or flight instinct talk us out of doing something new, because doing anything new means facing the risk of the unknown; but doing something new is also an exciting moment, opportunities are endless and we can be the author of a new chapter.

For me this chapter is one I only dreamed of writing not so long ago and now that I am so close to the beginning, ‘pen in hand’, doubts and questions float around me, but I feel more grounded than ever and I know this is what I want to do and I am just where I need to be.

So here it is, my first post, a quick little note so I can say ‘I did it’, my first post is done and all the following ones will be easier, from the simple fact that they’re not the first.
